opensourcecms.com delivers mad traffic!

Well no one on our end posted to you, because you’re quite clear that Beta projects shouldn’t be posted in your rules… and yes.. we read rules.. sometimes.
However, someone from your end must of been at osCon because we appeared on your site a few days ago. Here’s a snapshot of our google analytics for the last month:
Gotta say, we were gonna wait till we had a release we were calling final before posting to you, OpenSourceCMS.com. The fact that we just magically showed up is great! We’ll just take that as a pat on the back that what we consider Beta is pretty damn stable, and we’d like to say thanks.
(ps: hey reader, wanna help? vote for us on their site. when they first added us they linked to our demo in such a way that it wouldn’t work so we got some low votes that are messing up our average.)
This made me think of that IBM (?) commercial a few years back where a group of people launch their online business to great success and they all cheer as their first online order comes in… then another, then another, then suddenly thousands are pouring in, and they all stop cheering and stare at the screen in horror.
Here’s hoping we have that problem soon!

consider me a new c5 user, thanks to opensourcecms! i’m very excited about your system and have plans to use it very shortly after testing it out locally.

Great job guys! I don’t recall where I stumbled onto Concrete5.org previously but there’s no doubt opensourcecms will start pushing some major attention to you. We’ve just set up a test stage and I’m even more impressed with your product now that I’ve got into the admin portal. We look forward to launching a site on it!!
